5 Best Spring Break Destinations in Europe
1. Amsterdam (The Netherlands)

Amsterdam is by far one of THE best spring break destinations you could travel to in Europe!
It has that charming European city vibe and architecture with narrow cobbled stones and winding canals (perfect for your Insta feed) but also an incredible nightlife & party scene.
It’s the best of both worlds, am I right? A bit of sightseeing and partying during your spring break in Europe.
I’ve been lucky enough to call Amsterdam my home for the past 10 years and I’m still amazed by its beauty every single day.

2. Amalfi Coast (Italy)
One of the best beach spring break destinations in Europe

The Amalfi Coast in Italy is one of the most spectacular places to visit in Europe and definitely one of the best destinations for your spring break.
While it is a popular honeymoon destination it will definitely work perfectly for your spring break too! You’ll get to enjoy those amazing views of mountains bordering the Mediterranean Sea, eat incredible food and walk through the old, colorful villages of Positano, Amalfi, or Praiano.
The best part is that you’d get to visit before all the tourist crowds come in July or August and also when the temperatures are much more bearable. (it gets very hot in summer on the Amalfi Coast so visiting in spring is a much better choice!).
Steal my 5 days itinerary to the Amalfi Coast for an amazing European spring break!
3. Cote d’Azur (South of France)

The South of France, and particularly the French Riviera is another one of the best places to travel in Europe in spring and an incredible spring break destination too.
Fancy sailing across the beautiful turquoise water of the Mediterranean in St. Tropez or wandering through the picturesque city of Nice? And what about taking in all the glamour of Monaco?
Then a spring break in the South of France is a great choice!
3-4 days are sufficient to explore the most important cities on the French Riviera so you can definitely combine it with a longer European holiday that includes visiting Cinque Terre in Italy for example.
4. Cinque Terre (Italy)

Yes, Cinque Terre is definitely worth a visit during your Europe spring break as it is one of the most unique destinations on the old continent.
In case you are not familiar with it, Cinque Terre is a group of 5 gorgeous coastal villages in the Liguria region of Italy: Vernazza, Monterosso, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
You will be stunned by the beautiful colored houses that border the cliffs and overlook the Mediterranean Sea.
They are all located close to each other and easily connected by train (or a hiking trail if you’re feeling brave), so planning 3 days to visit should be enough.
If you can’t manage to see them all, I would recommend choosing Vernazza, Monterosso, and Manarola. You won’t regret it.
5. Sibiu (Romania)
