Top Restaurants in Amsterdam City Center
The Lobby (Hotel V)

The Lobby has been one of my top go-to brunch places ever since I moved to Amsterdam. And it is still one of my favorite restaurants to this day.
I love the atmosphere, the elegant yet cozy design of the restaurant, and the great service.
But above all else, it’s the American pancakes or Eggs Royale that does it for me. You absolutely have to try them, the food is amazing.
The location of the Lobby is pretty convenient, just a few meters away from Dam Square, on a quiet little street behind the busy Damrak. The perfect stop before (or after) a shopping session in Amsterdam.

Lotti’s (Hoxton Hotel)

The Hoxton hotel is another all-time favorite coffee place you just absolutely need to try during your stay in Amsterdam.

The location is great as well – you will find The Hoxton on the famous Herengracht canal, just a few meters away from the Nine Streets, this incredibly picturesque area of Amsterdam.

Okay, if you are looking for a trendy brunch place in Amsterdam, this is it.
The famous Bakers & Roasters is a New Zeeland-style cafe with a touch of Brazil, as the two owners poured their heart and heritage into this place.
Not only the food tastes amazing, but I also love how committed they are to sourcing their ingredients from local farmers.
There is no reservation needed at Bakers & Roasters, you simply walk in and add yourself to the waiting list. Do be prepared to wait quite a while, especially if you arrive at peak brunch times as this is a very popular place with the Amsterdam locals. 🙂
